Happy almost Halloween! Here are some unpublished favorites from my 2017 autumn Wild Mantle photo session with Laurel & Jo in the Wissahickon Woods. Better late than never though, right? Thank you Laurel and Jo for coming on a Wild Mantle adventure with me!
Happy Autumn to the L Family! We caught up just before sunset last Saturday at Rolling Hill Park in Gladwyne, PA. Gran happened to be visiting from out of town, which made for an extra fun photo shoot. I love how these kids are always filled to the brim with smiles, giggles and fun. We recreated the tree climbing photos we took a few years back, and made some new memories amongst the grounds of the Lower Merion Conservancy. Thank you to the L Family for another wonderful year! I hope you enjoy this sneak peak of some of my favorites.
I met up with the B Family at Rolling Hill Park in Gladwyne, PA for our 8th annual fall photo session. This year, I got to meet the latest addition to their family! Meet Maizy, the adorable poodle mix rescue dog they recently welcomed to their home. We took Maizy for a walk amongst the fall foliage, stopping at historic walls and autumn branches along the way for family photos. Thank you to the B Family for another awesome year! I hope you enjoy this sneak peak of some of my favorites.
In planning David’s Bar Mitzvah, his awesome parents shared their vision for a photo shoot a few months before the event so that we could hang one of the images at the party for guests to sign. I loved this idea, and had so much fun getting to know David and his family as we exploring the Rail Park in Philly in September! (Can you spot the photo we used below!?) Before we knew it, late October was here! It was great to have the opportunity to photograph David at his actual rehearsal with Rabbi Freedman at Rodeph Shalom. David was a pro! The party was held at Punch Line Philly, a super cool restaurant and comedy club in Fishtown. From the light-up-sneakers to the rocking’ dance floor, the event came together beautifully. I was definitely smiling from ear to ear as I captured all the love in the room for David and his family.
Mazel Tov to David on becoming Bar Mitzvah! Thank you for having me as your photographer. Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorites…
I had such a nice time returning to one of my favorite synagogues, Beth Am Israel, to capture Elizabeth’s Bat Mitzvah rehearsal. With autumn starting to reveal itself, we found lush wheat grass and red berries as beautiful backdrop for this sweet and kind family’s photographs. Lizzy’s party took place at Radnor Valley Country Club and included a surprise performance by I Am Talent which left her guests inspired and speechless. Needless to say, the dance floor was awesome and the celebration was full of fun, love, and happy wishes for Lizzy on her big day. Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorites!

Year three with the A Family! Sweater weather is here, magic hour is beautiful, and it was so much fun to take a tour of downtown Narberth with these adorable and rambunctious little boys. Mom arrived first, which gave us some girl time to do a glam headshot (things always work out nicely, don’t they?). When the boys showed up, their laughter, love and fun had me smiling from ear to ear behind the camera. We scaled some walls, visited some memory landmarks, and even discovered an outdoor kid-sized kitchen sink. To the A Family: thank you for having me as your photographer! Here are some of my favorites from our session.
Year five is in the books for the D Family! We met at the Sabine Avenue Playground in Narberth on a weekday afternoon just before sunset. It was so much fun to hang out with these kiddos and see how they’ve grown over the past year. Here is a sneak peak of some of my favorite moments of the smiles, laughter and fun.
It was great to see the W family for our annual fall photo shoot! This year, we took a stroll through downtown Narberth and the boys showed me all their favorite spots. From Le Petit Mitron to Danny’s Guitars to the painted bridge… I had a blast following these two around and capturing all of their fun. Here are some of my favorites. Thanks to the W family for having me as your photographer once again!
It has been an honor to document the stunning installations of Philadelphia’s premier urban garden specialist, Graceful Gardens. From Rittenhouse to Fairmont, Washington Square to Fishtown, it was such a pleasant surprise to discover all of these secret gardens in the city that these gardeners tends to with so much love and care. These photography sessions were part of a larger project I took on for this urban gardening company of redesigning and rebuilding their new website. Thank you to Graceful Gardens for having me as your photographer, and to all their wonderful clients for inviting me in to capture your magnificent gardens!
I photographed the H family for the first time eight years ago. I remember the kids running around the park when they were under 10 years old and when the top of their heads came up to my waist. Now, 3 bar mitzvahs and lots of family memories later, the kids are almost all taller than me and starting to go to college! Time flies, and it’s been a true pleasure to create a photographic archive of memories for the H Family over the years. Here are some favorites from our summer session at Haverford College.
Mazel Tov to Max on his Bar Mitzvah! It was fun to photograph Max's big day at Beat Street Station in Huddington Valley. We chose a graffiti wall outside for family portraits which gave the photographs a playful, colorful vibe. Max's sports theme meant the guests were invited to wear jerseys of their favorite players. Here is a reel of some of my favorite shots from the day!
I was honored to photograph Madeleine’s Bat Mitzvah at Beth Am Israel and the Hilton Philadelphia on City Line Avenue. I first got to know Maddie when I photographed her big sister Sophie’s bat mitzvah a few years back. I’ve loved working with this family over the years. Here are some of my favorites from the celebration!
It was fun to catch up with Jess Edelstein of Piperwai all natural deodorant for our headshot session at the WeWork in Center City, Philadelphia. A true girlboss, Jess’s business blew up after she and her Co-Founder appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank. Jess, I’m so proud of you and I LOVE your hair! You are always on brand and it’s fabulous. Thanks for having me as your photographer.
Rachel & Jay were married on a Thursday morning at City Hall, and it was one of the most romantic weddings I’ve ever photographed. I loved Rachel’s beautiful white pantsuit and how Jay wore matching white shoes. Congratulations, Rachel & Jay! Thank you for having me as your photographer.
Emily & Bob started the new year off on the right track: by getting married! On January 1, 2018 I photographed their cozy quaker wedding at their beautiful home on the Main Line. After they said “I do,” they invited their guests to Sang Kee Asian Bistro to celebrate their first dinner as husband and wife. Congratulations, Emily & Bob!

I caught up with the S Family just a few days before Christmas when the kids (and their kids!) were home for the holidays. We had beautiful weather which allowed us to hang outside in the yard, and also didn’t stop us from cozy time around the christmas tree reading books to the kids. I was honored to be there the first time these two little cousins met, and hope you enjoy this selection of some of my favorites from our session.
Some favorite portraits from my recent headshot session with Hadassah at Shortridge Memorial Park in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
What a perfectly cozy late fall evening for a family photo session with the G Family! There were leaves decorating the ground and beautiful magic hour light as the kids played in the yard and laughed with glee on the swing set. This family is full of love, fun, and inspiration. Here are some of my favorites, including some with O in the santa hat at the very end! Thank you to the G family for having me as your photographer.
Congratulations to Rosie & Mike on a beautiful barn wedding at New Wood Farm in Maryland! Knowing the autumn leaves were in their full glory, we choose a meadow for their “First Look.” I couldn’t get over the 50’s theme: from their adorable son was in his matching red Converse to the bridesmaids rockin’ their retro red sunglasses. Here are some of my favorites from their big day!
It was so great to see the W Family again! This year we headed over to the Wissahickon by the Cedar House, Forbidden Drive and Northwestern Stables. I love the bowties the boys were wearing, and the candids of the boys running around the area. Here are some of my favorites!
